At Home Nursing Services in Colorado Springs

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct care or supervise care provided by a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide (CNA/ HHA). They manage, observe, and evaluate patient care and teach the patient and his/her family caregiver how to maintain their care at home. Examples of skilled nursing include giving IV drugs, shots, or tube feedings; surgical aftercare, ostomy care, changing wound dressings; and teaching about diabetic care care. Skilled nursing visits can range in time based on the services needed but typically are shorter visits that can range from a few times a day to once monthly.
